Here are a few things to consider as you embark on your e-commerce journey with us. Our platform offers a range of tools designed to support and ensure your success every step of the way.

*Note: Now that your storefront is live and ready to receive customer orders, we encourage you to review our Threat Assessment article. This resource outlines important measures you can take to potentially prevent fraudulent orders.

Google Analytics

We strongly recommend beginning by setting up Google Analytics and linking it to your AmmoReady account. This will enable you to effectively monitor and analyze the web traffic to your storefront.

Google Search Console

We also recommend setting up a Google Search Console account to help you measure your site's Search traffic and performance, fix issues, and submit your storefront's domain URL for Google Search results. You can also submit your storefront's XML sitemap to Google to get your new storefront indexed by GoogleBot.

Your XML sitemap is available at https://www.yourdomainhere.com/sitemap.xml

Pricing Markups

With your storefront now live and actively selling inventory, we recommend reviewing your pricing markup percentages. Adjusting these values can provide your business with a competitive edge.

To refine your pricing strategy, consider comparing your rates with those of other industry marketplaces:

SEO

Adding custom SEO tags to your AmmoReady storefront's pages is a great way to customize your appearance through search engines such as Google. Please review our article on adding SEO tags to your storefront for more information.

AmmoReady Add-Ons

AmmoReady provides a range of free and paid add-ons that you can install through the Add-Ons tab. Below, you'll find a selection of add-ons designed to help you build your customer base, boost sales, and encourage repeat business.

*Note: To install Add-ons, navigate to the Add-ons tab in the left sidebar after logging into your AmmoReady Dashboard.

The average e-commerce website has a conversion rate of just 2.86%, meaning that 97.14% of visitors leave without making a purchase. To help turn those visitors into potential customers, we can assist you in capturing their email addresses and building your email marketing list. Nearly all of AmmoReady's top sellers use email capture strategies and typically send at least one email per week to engage with their audience.

You can integrate our Email Capture Add-on with various email marketing platforms, including MailChimp, which offers a free tier.

Allow your customers to be notified when out-of-stock products become available again with the Back In Stock Notifications add-on. This tool lets customers enter their email addresses to receive alerts when items are back in stock. AmmoReady handles the rest, checking inventory every 5 minutes and sending notifications automatically. Simply install the add-on to start capturing sales and track product subscriptions and sales from notifications.

Cart abandonment is a significant issue, with the average e-commerce store losing over 75% of potential sales due to abandoned carts. In some industries, abandonment rates can reach up to 83.6%. The Abandoned Cart Reminders add-on addresses this challenge by automating a two-step email drip campaign. You can even include a discount or free shipping coupon in the second email. Set it up once, and it runs automatically, helping you recover lost sales effortlessly.
