AmmoReady allows you to enable a Local Pickup / Pickup In-Store option for customers to select at checkout.
When enabled, customers can choose to pick up their order from your store instead of having it shipped. This setting uses your account’s premise address as the pickup destination.
You can enable or disable this option from your dashboard:
Settings > Checkout > General Options

Important note about shipping fees
When a customer selects local pickup, shipping fees are not applied to the order, even if the order will be fulfilled through a distributor.
This is expected behavior. Since the customer is choosing to pick up the order from your store, the checkout assumes the order is not being shipped directly to the customer.
Offsetting distributor shipping costs
If you still want to charge a pickup-related fee to help offset shipping costs you may incur from a distributor, you can configure an In-Store Pickup fee on the same checkout settings page.
This can be found under:
Settings > Checkout > Flat Fees
When configured, the In-Store Pickup fee will be added to any order where the customer selects local pickup at checkout.
