AmmoReady offers a simple, yet effective blog feature called Posts. In this guide we'll show you how to create an example post and add a Blog link to the menu.
From your Dashboard, go to Website > Posts.
Next, click on + New Post to create a new blog post.
On the next page you will see that there are a handful of options for adding content to your new post. Add your Title, optional URL (recommended to leave blank), and the main content body of your blog post. See this article for more information about using the Content Area widget.
Once you have written your blog post, make sure to select Publish? and then click Create Post to publish the post to your storefront.
*Note: Once a post is created the page will refresh revealing additional SEO Settings you can apply to that individual post. See our Add SEO tags to your storefront to go over these settings.
Now that your new blog post is published, we need to add a menu link to the Blog so users can easily access it.
Go to Settings in the top right corner. Next, click on the Menu tab.
On the right hand side you will notice a section to Add a Menu Item. Include a Display Name (we're using Blog in this example) and then select Blog from the Link to a Page dropdown options.
Once that is complete, click Add Item.
Now you will notice that your Blog menu item has been added to your Menu Links. See this article for more information on adjusting your Menu Links.
You can now access your Blog and its posts by visiting your website and clicking the Blog link in the header menu.
Click on either the Title or Read More to view the entire post.
You have now successfully created and published your blog using AmmoReady's Posts feature!
