Quick Start Guide

This document provides a high-level overview of the steps required to configure an AmmoReady storefront

Create and confirm your AmmoReady account

  1. Confirm your account by clicking the link in the confirmation email that you will receive

  2. Sign in using your email address and the password you created when you signed up

Add a Distributor

  1. Click the "Add a Distributor" button on the Dashboard

  2. Select the Distributor you want to add

  3. Enter the account/API credentials for the selected Distributor *

  4. Submit the form

* Contact your Distributor account rep to get your credentials

Add a Payment Gateway

  1. Click the "Add a Payment Gateway" button on the Dashboard

  2. Select the Payment Gateway you want to add

  3. Enter the account/API credentials for the selected Payment Gateway *

  4. Submit the form

* Contact your Payment Gateway provider to get your credentials

Add an FFL

  1. Click the "Add FFL" button on the Dashboard

  2. Enter your FFL number

  3. Click the "Claim" button

  4. Check the box to indicate you will accept FFL transfers (optional)

  5. Enter the fee you charge for handling a Handgun or Long Gun

Store Settings

  1. Click the "Store Settings" button on the Dashboard

  2. Enter your required store information

  3. Adjust shipping fees and margins or use default values

  4. Click "Save Settings" button

Add a Payment Method

  1. Click the "Add Payment Method" button on the Dashboard

  2. Enter your credit card information

  3. Click the "Save Payment Method" button

Add Your Custom Domain

After you enter a Payment Method you will be prompted to enter your domain name

  1. Enter the domain name or sub-domain name for your AmmoReady storefront

Congratulations, You're in Test Mode

Once you've completed all of the steps in this Quick Start Guide, your AmmoReady storefront is in Test mode. That means you're almost ready to start selling, but your domain name is not yet pointing to your new website. Contact support@ammoready.com for help pointing your domain to your AmmoReady storefront. Once your domain is set up we will take your account out of test mode.
